The Department of Orthopaedic surgery provides state of the art treatment in all fields of Orthopaedic Surgery including Trauma and Accident Surgery, Spine Surgery, Joint Replacements, Paediatric Orthopaedic, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Sports medicine and Arthroscopy

The department is headed by Dr. T. Thiraviam with a spirited and commited team of senior and associate consultants providing expert surgical care.

THe facilities provided in the department have expanded steadily and totally it performs more than 2000 major surgeries per year and has an outpatient strength is excess of 5000 new patients and total outpatient attendance of 15000 every year.
